Forjado is a game developed by Velthortech. This document explains, in plain language, what information we collect when you play, what we use it for, and how you can delete it.
The short version:
1. We do not know your email address, your real name, or where you are.
2. We store your game progress and your purchases. Nothing else.
3. You can delete your account from within the game, and it is really deleted.
1. Information we collect
To identify you
| Data | Where it comes from |
|---|---|
| Google Play Games identifier | From Google, when you sign in. It is an internal code that lets us recognise your account between sessions. It is not your email address and it does not allow us to contact you. |
| Display name | The one you choose inside the game. You can change it. |
| Time zone | Needed so that daily rewards reset at the correct local time for you. |
About your gameplay
- Progress: gold, gems, experience, items, upgrades and completed levels.
- Run history: results, waves reached and rewards obtained.
- Account creation date and last activity date.
About your purchases
- The purchase receipt issued by Google Play, the product bought and its status.
- We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed entirely by Google Play; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was valid.
If you contact us
If you open a support ticket from within the game, we store the message you send so we can reply to you.
2. What we do NOT collect
To be explicit, the game does not access:
- Your email address, real name or phone number.
- Your geographic location.
- Your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.
- Other applications installed on your device.
3. What we use it for
- So you can play: saving your progress and giving it back when you return.
- Delivering what you buy: validating the purchase with Google and crediting it.
- Keeping the game fair: detecting impossible runs and stopping cheating.
- Improving the game: understanding, in aggregate, which levels are too hard or which content goes unused.
- Answering your questions, if you write to us.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the services required for the game to work:
| Service | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Play Games | Signing in and verifying your identity. |
| Google Play Billing | Processing and validating purchases. |
| Infrastructure providers | Hosting the servers where your progress and the game images live. |
These services have their own privacy policies, which we recommend reading if you want the details.
5. Advertising
The game may show advertisements, including optional ads you watch in exchange for a reward. Those ads are provided by Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers to serve advertising and measure its performance, under its own privacy policy.
You can limit personalised advertising from your Android device settings, in the privacy and ads section. Watching ads is always optional: the game can be played in full without watching a single one.
6. How long we keep your data
For as long as your account exists. If you delete it, the data is removed as described in the next section.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete it yourself, from within the game, without asking us or writing to us. It is immediate and irreversible.
When you do:
- Your account and all your progress are permanently deleted: character, items, currencies, run history and campaign progress. There is no "deactivated" copy kept aside — it is erased.
- Purchase records are kept without your identifier. They remain as anonymous transactions, with no link to your account. We do this because we are required to retain records of commercial transactions, but after that they can no longer be connected to you.
- The same applies to support tickets: they are kept without the link to your account.
Note: deleting your account does not refund past purchases, and any purchased content is lost along with the rest of your progress.
8. Security
All communication between the game and our servers travels encrypted (HTTPS). Administration panel passwords are stored using modern hashing functions, never in plain text. Database access is restricted to our servers' internal network and is not exposed to the internet.
Even so, no system is infallible. If we detect an incident affecting your information, we will report it through the game's channels.
9. Children
Forjado is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor in your care created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
10. Your rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete the information associated with your account. Deletion is already available directly from the game; for anything else, write to us.
In Argentina, the data protection authority is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública, where you may file a complaint if you believe we did not handle your request properly.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change something significant, we will update the date in the header and announce it inside the game. We recommend reviewing it from time to time.
12. Contact
Write to [email protected] with any question about your data.
